UEFI mode better than legacy. my laptop still in legacy mode, if goto UEFI then need backup all data in hard disk now, hehe...

need time, im waiting for ending of my work in office of current stage and will install win10, so can bypass compatibility of some applications needed for office working.

have setting for exclusive mode in lekt player's code: AUDCLNT_SHAREMODE_EXCLUSIVE = 1, AUDCLNT_STREAMFLAGS_EVENTCALLBACK = 40000h
don't know win10 use these values or not. win8/8.1 correctly in this mode.

goon heaven, try next versions win8.1/ws2012-r2, maybe work for you:

v3.42 256 kse vs2015
v3.42 256 kse3

i use vs2015 enterprise, install and extract file set for masm compiler. i feel sound better with new compiler. made some corrections in code of kse3 version, hope it work for your sound card.

re-installed 8.1.

both versions work for me.

and uploaded Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015.zip to my google drive, it may help if windows notice about msvcr_xxx.dll.

doesn't seem to need it? maybe windows update already installed it.

JC, do you still keep win8.1? try v3.42 256 kse vs2015, i don't change code, only recompiled. i feel bass much better, very good pressure, real energy.

installed win10 home. it wins pro by a mile!

it sounds so good, afraid to tweak it and f**ks up the sound hehe

only tweaked bios is enough

even little things like turn off windows messages seems to f**k up the sound little bit... not the sound as intended by lekt player hehe

Installed redistributable, tried both programs above, but get popup saying "This app cannot run on your PC". Any ideas?
