uploaded play v107, exactly same instructions as v96, just different alignment. quite like it. doesn't have the strident quality of recent versions, has more punch, but retains the open detail of v96.

only think I can think of is if control is not set to start as administrator and therefore can't shutdown play.

play, loader and control should all be set to start as administrator.

Still same Gordon
control is running in task manager when music start then closes but Mqnplay still runs and CPU goes high
Also CMD window of control open with music playing with other controls it was close as soon as music starts
Maybe there is something on my setup maybe next control will fix that?

Anyway v107 really sounds good

uploaded play v108, going to go out on a limb and say this is the best version there has been. stunning detail, what more do you want ?

another tip from agner fog so don't need single byte alignment instructions.

I take no responsibility for loss of hearing or blown speakers as the natural response to this version is to play the music very loud.

does the taskkill command in mqn.bat close it down ?

create a .bat file with taskkill /f /im mqnplay.exe

and see if that works .
