It's absolutely killing me that the YouTube track featured below is not on the vinyl edition :( Though it does have a stupendous version of ".....Religion" - see below :)

Stunning is right Dermot. Tried to buy it today on the strength of your recommendation but out of stock :-(
Even what he played as filler was well worth a listen.

At least you should be able get the the dvd Shane. It's called "Ghost Blues" and it's a two dvd set with the Beat Club Sessions on the second disc. I'll see if I can hunt down the vinyl edition for you.....

The "Live In Montreux" is also a goodie on the same label :)

Shane,

You can get it from Discogs in the original grey :) Try the German guy (33rpm45rpm) - second one down.

Or if you'd rather try Amazon UK : http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/offer-listin ... 20&sr=1-12

Thanks Dermot, ordered it today locally. Should be easy enough to get on vinyl.
Got the Ghost Blues set recently but haven't looked at disc 2 yet..

Of course Shane I didn't read your post properly and just lost the run of mysel lol!

Anyway here's something I found earlier and I'd say a lot of Rory fans wouldn't be that tuned in to it's existence. The bit I've watched is something else entirely. God was there no end to his talents and, more importantly, how did I miss out first time round?? It's a "Rock Goes To College" thing from '79.....Definitely on my list :)

Round about this time [11 am] Jimi did his 'tribute' to the great American Dream.....For me the most pivotal moment in all of Rock history. God bless you Jimi......

Hilarious interview. Cool guy.

Yeah he does come across real relaxed and cool. The complete opposite of his live performances....

Have you any of his albums. Any favourites?

Who the hell is Hendrix?? :)

Yeah Dermot, current favourite is the Blues lp, got it recently on vinyl, cool sleeve. Also rediscovered the BBC sessions recently too.
Have the 3 studio lps but only Electric Ladyland on vinyl-dodgy sleeve and all.
