Rock - what are you listening to?
Re: Rock - what are you listening to?
Good for you Dermot; obviously well played! I was wondering which album you would take down.

That album was my introduction to the band. I remember it well; it was a Sunday afternoon at a friend's house, all of us gathered around the dansette listening to this cool music which we never heard before. I always loved the sleeve too despite the fact I couldn't understand how they made the tree and sun black :)

That's a blast from the past, not too many out there would reference; Vi Subversa, Bella Donna, Lance d’Boyle, Cynth Ethics among others over the years.

Do you ever wonder what the hell it was you were doing with music choice in the past. How the hell did I miss all these tracks at the time? Really getting into this, although the songs from Anthem suffer from what I might call Simson drum syndrome there is some excellent reggae here.

If you're getting into reggae then a bit of Gregory Isaacs is a must.
