Accuracy is hard to fake
No I'm not saying that. What I hear I feel is quite accurate. This makes me think either the synergy between MQn and your system is different to what it is with mine or you're aiming for a different sound to myself.

I know, but it's work in progress.

uploaded portaudio v38 and mqnplay v34

portaudio removed a bit more code

it's about 10 x better than v37, think you'll find enough vibrations to get the feet tapping.

hopefully the mqnplay v34 sse2 version is ok.

starting to get very good, vinyl like slam and dynamics, quite an exciting sound, I certainly haven't heard anything like it.

with other players there is a small difference between wasapi and ks, so this is far exceeding my expectations. Think it's apparent that you can't just shove a load of code in and not affect the sound, no matter how many ghz you have.

hopefully there is more.

just listened to a bit of Rory and it's an incredible sound, wow.

7.16 sse + v38

v38 is like getting a better amp

<=v37, 7.16 lacks color. bass is below average.
at v38, 7.16 starts to have color. bass reaches average level.
all things better. clarity better. vocal decay remains pretty perfect here.

v38 also improves 7.18

i know its a working progress, doubt theres any point testing ks mqn with rose tinted glasses either
only trying to chip in:)

still finding it a little smoothed out, fast piano, bass control and weight suffers
im sure it will come right yet

yes piano notes are mellow. need sharp and solid.

piano weight is fine. same as old wasapi mqn

bass doesnt have enough speed/agility in sharper bass notes,

fast piano one note smears into the next

likely all the same issue

wasapi still sounds livelier, clearer and more involving in the more challenging tracks
