uploaded mqnplay1644 7.00 which uses portaudio to play via wdm/ks, need portaudio_x64.dll in the same directory.

not optimal, but it's a start. win server 2012 will be able to run it in core.

Core doesn't have ks or wasapi ks can be added back in wasapi cannot as of yet

Core mode is a slimmed, trimmed version for server usage.
Best to start with as small an OS as possible. What isn't there doesn't need to be removed.
GUI version is dirtiest to start with.

6.15 avx2 has vinyl-like tick.
6.16 avx2 as well.
6.18 avx2 also.

Tried one of the intermediairies (5.98 avx2) as well, but that is like a dead duck in the water compared to 5.14 avx2, so lifeless. So still haven't heared anything that comes close to 5.14 with respect to musicality, tonal balance and proper details and life-like representation of the music.

So back to 5.14 it is.

Not interested in trying KS, before there is a good WASAPI for 32-bit containers and all sample-rates.
KS will require reinstalling R2-OS to core mode and applying AO to get KS back.

tell you one thing, stripping "internet explorer" damages texture a little, did you know?

as a result, min mode always has some unsolvable issues... i know coz i used it for months

i think that's because of the affinity tweak by mqncontrol. it alters the texture. restructures again by mqnplayer.

1. try restore all affinity of all processes, you would hear terrible texture. (texture is worse than any other software except for jplay which is unbelievably bad)
2. reenable the affinity tweak by mqncontrol, the sound is tidied up.

makes sound dirty and cleaning is not the way.

this is last time i say this, so tired of repeating myself.
