i don't know why crackling in your case. maybe only work for win8 as mine. did you tested with onboard sound card?
(v2.92.x need msvcr120.dll from vs2013 or Visual C++ Redistributable Packages for Visual Studio 2013)
hmm... i have vs2013 pro
yes need bass layer in vocal -> need more sweet tune.
2.4.3 is the king of drum weight. i think it is 100% correct. most real drum sound -> high energy.
i think 2.4.3 is so good because of correct clockrate + buffer... 352 in my case.

in the old days, 2.3x only crackles very little bit.
months later, crackles got a lot worse! something has changed hehe

i am in love with 2.90.9....
i use it to tweak.
if less hard, all software better. haha
much easier to tweak using xa. xa is big headache. all things are variables...
actually, now xa sounds more like xa in win7.
sound is still unstable with win8/2012.
i see sound feels very calm with pkshan win7.
shall posts all my tweaks very soon

listening more 2.92... very very good vocal.
i think if weight is less and depth little more, vocal is perfect.

i think 2.92.1 is correct weight for vocal.
maybe not enough weight for drum.
doesn't matter. best vocal needs less drum weight...

yes, drum need more weight. important thing, otherwise sound doesn't give full emotion.

yes. will do it 2moro.
2.40.1 is good vocal.
it has a lot of 'meat' in vocal.
power is strong and no spotlight.
not many software can make vocal like this.
2.92 vocal power is strong but i can feel spotlight (earaches coz weight too much)
