New HiFace 1 driver available

Post by markof »

There is a new MacOS X driver for the HiFace 1 interface available at

https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B7-...it?usp=sharing

This is a Mavericks driver and allows my JKDAC 32 to run in integer mode for the first time.

Lovely sound overall.

Thanks for posting this, Mark - I just learned about this yesterday & haven't had time to post about it.
Your link doesn't work now but I saw yesterday that the driver was on the M2tech http://www.m2tech.biz/it/hiface.html website under Legacy product (Hiface) but I don't see it there now - only a guide to uninstalling the old drivers in prep for the new Maverick driver but no Maverick driver download anymore.

Best place for information is this CA thread http://www.computeraudiophile.com/f11-s ... dex16.html

It also now seems to support Integer Mode & Direct Mode on the Mac :)

For Digital Audio playback that delivers WHERE the performers are on stage but more importantly WHY they are there.
