good sound, JC. soundstage and sound movement are good, expand to left/right sides and rise up, natural. my win8 use default clockrate 10000, not intense.
v2.69 use buffer size 1024, cannot use with 256. lekt shell not only shell or control, it also playes as core. interesting method.

this soundstage is very very fine. don't change it haha... height/width/depth all very very fine.

uploaded lektshell.exe1644 v2.69 1024 s4 , more air, more vibration, sound now is clean. soundstage kept from s3.

i see s4 soundstage better, more depth, seems many things are correct. i happy with its piano sound, good feeling.

piano not quite there yet.

when pianists listen to piano, they are very interested in how each key is pressed.

lekt's piano does ok. notes are pressed too heavily. flow is good.

xa's piano only has the flow. many micro-details are not there. worst for learning piano.

only mqn has the flow + more correct weight pressed on notes.

in general, piano key pressed have 2 kinds:
1. drop fingers by free-fall into keys (gravity)
2. force into the keys (not using gravity)
(you can also 3. accelerate by force into free-fall into key)

many pianists, even for grade 8, they only 'force into the keys". VERY VERY BAD. they don't realize it themself. because their teachers don't know it either!
best pianists manages very well between 1 + 2.

so far mqn very very very well shows 1 + 2.

i always said mqn.exe 2.82 has best piano. i notice it cheats a little. in PE header, it has huge stack + heap size! this helps show how keys are pressed a lot.

however, i tried reducing its stack and heap to normal level. its flow is still totally correct.

yes, s4 have little intense.

uploaded lektshell.exe1644 v2.69 1024 s5 , optimized code of s3 version, correction one statement, must be more correct than s3 by programing. soundstage seem better, bigger size. bass now give good pressure and energy. try it!

think this is reference version? airy and sweet. everything kept or better.

on win2012, this versions is champion in resolution. most correct of all versions

never heard more resolution on win2012.

usually high resolution means less air. not anymore.

2.69 s5 is resolution king + good air + correct soundstage.

just notice clarity is also best i heard on 2012.

the sound has good 3D. 3D drum.

this soundstage! wow... everywhere is sound. every instrument has good position and good size. it has good depth. didn't notice it. because it is music focus! music>soundstage. soundstage is actually best i heard on 2012.

think this stage size is more than my headphones can handle!
