Ugly it is indeed, but then I have never seen a good design by an american company.

Cheers

Ah thats a bit harsh Aleg!

I quite like the look of it - clean uncomplicated looking layout. However 14k!!! Really!!

Sorry about being harsh, but I don't like those american designs AT ALL.
I find them coarse and lacking refinement.

Cheers

I dunno - I find them "technical" looking, but that does kind of appeal to me. The designs I don't like as much are the chrome and brass things you sometimes see on valve amps. Funny enough, I think Jadis does that and it looks good, but others just go OTT.

Its hard to know until you actualy get close to it too - all there seems to be are 2 pics on the whole of the web!!

I just find it hard to justify the price....

The Lamm look quite OK, but I am prejudiced toward Black Boxes, LOL.

See my signature for the clou to that remark.

Cheers

Jadis looks a bit understated well some of them anyway compared to the 'bad' ones above.
Art audio cases look great as well. But in general the valve amps really are just 3 boxes on top of a rectangular box with a group of tubes in front and a few knobs. Pathos or UR seem to go in for wooden bits and mad space age looks. I don't get it
