seem latency much reduced and many things automatically become better
soundstage width/high/depth, weight, sharpness, brightness must be keeped on each next version. ah, difficult.
the vibration is extremely valuable of sound, need more and more improve vibration, but always control to soundstage. i'll try more.

2.14
vocal
-voices in the mid also the deep voices are excellent as always. very good emotion/micro-details/vibration.
-voices in higher frequencies (average female vocal) are relatively less good. lacks enough power, hence, less emotion than norm.
-guitar can be weak/too mellow.
-basically, bass is very amazing and treble needs more work.

-low volume/light weight notes in piano if possible make them deeper/crispier.
-a lot of emotion is lost from pianist's softer performance.

lekt, you need inspiration for correct soundstage, try XA1030A+XA's win7+XA's tweaks+don't install graphic driver (warning: shall take a day to setup!). it sounds just right to me.
apart from that, there isn't much to learn from XA. your bass is already amazing. vocal is better and better.

2.14 defines pure bass rock and roll... not another player is better.

thank for recommend. i love foobar2000's bass, best of these: 0.8.3 and 1.0.3, soft but deep. XA made 0.8.3 better, reduced noise. didn't tried 1030A
you've listening XA, JPlay in Realtime Priority mode. Realtime Priority make sound more intense => give more emotion (false or true?), but not open/free as Normal Priority. do testing lekt.exe in High Priority for compare (i can't setup for realtime mode by .bat file, maybe need do it in code.

Realtime is interesting. if not setup proper, it takes away vibrations and adds intensity in XA, MQn etc. very dangerous setting.
if properly setup, i think realtime gives the most mellow and airy sound.

anyway, wasn't talking about that, i was referring to soundstage of XA. like stage focus, instrument positionings. now XA sounds very correct in his win7. it never did!
