Valves Wanted

Post by markof »

I'm looking for a matched pair of valves to replace those in my Fatman iTube version 1 amp as one of the valves crackles and the cap is getting very black.
I believe the designation is 6N1

The Russian ones are generally very well-regarded, and I've had good luck ordering such valves on eBay. I think 6N1 is "close" to the 6DJ8/ECC88/6922/E88CC/6n23p family, but I wouldn't know enough to advise about substitutions.
