Build a dedicated Audio PC
Re: Build a dedicated Audio PC
Hi Nigel
Yes in for a penny. Not going to pretend it'll be one step though.
Would this be a workable starting point - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Mini-ITX-PICO ... 27d4e7997b
Thanks

Yes, price is good, UK mainland postage not excessive. May snap one up.
Is the Maplin linear psu adjustable on output voltage. My recollection is they knock out 13.8v by default...

Re: Build a dedicated Audio PC
Mark if you get the maplin it is easy even without pictures to identify the two flathead screws that are turned.
Connect multimeter to positive and ground (Red and Black connectors) Turning the flathead screws one will adjust the Volts. Trial and error will get you there just be careful when you take the cover off.

Chaps
Many thanks. I read the first couple of pages of the thread on the JPLay forum. Great info from you all there. My local Maplin has a couple of in stock so may get a chance to pick one or two up tomorrow.

Struggling to get the network working with R2. Should I have left out the commands regarding network in the Core install procedure?
If so can I undo these commands?
Thanks. Music and everything else working no prob!

Re: Build a dedicated Audio PC
Files off my NAS. Sorry if I am confusing terms. All is working in device manager but I got a message that the device did not exist on the machine when trying to install the driver from Intel... I tried manual install but got a warning that the driver might not be compatible with device... Might just try and delete drivers and do a fresh install of ME9 (which seems to be needed as well)...
