Are you're familiar with Experimedia Records John? I get a weekly mail out plus soundcloud. Anyway here's this weeks selection. The very first one Pan Gu sounds very, very promising indeed! I've only had a cursary listen to some of them but I think you might just like Case Histories (17 down) Happy listening....

Re: Electronica - what are you listening to?
Norman Records sent me this and I have to say I'm intrigued....
Norman Records:
Ahh this seems to be soothing our collective minds and brightening up what’s otherwise a miserable, drizzly, late May afternoon.
Walter uses the EVI, or Electronic Valve Instrument, a 1980s synthesizer/horn hybrid, to create meditative tracks brimming with warmth and soul, interspersed with interludes that occasionally recall Boards Of Canada. Having never heard the EVI before this is quite a revelation.
The album title does very much sum up the content as the dreamy moods occasionally slip into darker terrain. The jazzy feel, coupled with the electronics, is making me think of some of the Moritz Von Oswald Trio material, even Miles Davis at times. Around half of the tracks on the album were improvisations recorded in a single take with only drums being overdubbed occasionally. ‘The Way Of Five’ is a total blissed-out dreamer of a tune with gentle, bubbling, electronic melodies that are threatening to send me to the land of nod. Most pleasant.
