Munster Leinster

Post by tony »

What a great win for Leinster tonight. After years of ladyboys it was great to see them win a dog fight against munster. o'Driscoll is still magic once he gets near the line. What a character to have in your team.

Did anyone see the kick in the head on Dave Kearney by Paul O'Connell .Ok it was accidental but he may have done really serious damage there it as hard to watch.

100% accident. Kearney caught the ball in the air and landed flat winding himself. He instinctively placed the ball but just as PO'C went to kick it (legally) Kearney pulled it back a bit.

Great win alright although a draw would have been fair. Still... we'll take it! Fine exhibition of hard fought physical rugby - not pretty but hugely skillful. Might watch it again! (with less nerves this time)

As I saw it everybody seemed to stop expecting a penalty for Kearney being hit in the air. The Leinster forwards didn't protect Kearney and O'Connell tried to fly hack the ball through. 100% accident, as Ivor said, although O'Connell will probably be cited for dangerous or reckless play.
Great win by Leinster against an improving Munster team.
