To make it as clear as we can, here are some simple guidelines:

a) like any forum, the success of tirnahifi is entirely dependent on discussion. All members are encouraged to participate in discussion of music, hifi, etc.
b) tirnahifi is not designed to be, nor intended to be, a marketplace. Any member who uses the site merely for selling will be looked on suspiciously.
c) those members who choose to sell on the site should be aware that the mods do keep an eye on the stuff for sale, plus the demeanour of the seller. Sometimes we may lock/delete/ban a sales thread on this basis.
d) honesty is paramount in all selling transactions. Commercial sellers who label themselves as such are accepted at the discretion of the moderating team.
e) All ads have to include information about age, price, provenance, etc.
f) THE MODERATING TEAM RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REMOVE ANY ADS AT THEIR DISCRETION.
g) Commercial sellers should approach any of the moderation team in advance of posting. First time commercial posts without moderator contact will be removed.

It's terrific. But I just don't use it enough.
To be honest I have never exploited its capabilities and probably used it for about an hour a week of real, relaxed listening. Time poor you see.
I haven't gotten really into the computer music either.
I have to say though that Classe's claims about brilliant iPhone playback are true IMHO.
44.1 tracks from the phone are incredible through it.
I've used an 18 year old Sony DVD player as CD transport and its also excellent.

Oh yeah, I could do with the dosh too.

Not yet. But Classé have said that this will be available in the future.
I believe the relevant hardware is already on board. So I think it might be a software thing.
I have updated the firmware recently via a web download. That's a simple USB key operation.
There's also an ethernet port at the back of it which doesn't have a use as yet.
So definitely plans afoot at Classé.

There's lots of stuff about all of this on various forums.
But to be honest I'm not really into the whole streaming thing so I haven't kept up to speed on progress.

I've just used it as an excellent analogue pre amp a DAC and an iPhone upgrade.
