"cat 'o nine tails" power lead?

Post by jaybee »

I realise this may be sacrilege, but I can't see it as any different to a Gang socket...

Can you buy a single three pin plug with multiple kettle or shaver plugs....

It seems like something somebody would make but I can't find one online at all?

Anyone come across one?

Do you mean a single plug with multiple sockets? - well yep, but the easiest way is a 4 gang extension lead? That way they only use 1 length of wire for 4 sockets rather than 4 lengths of wire.

There are computer leads made that are single plug and 2 x IEC sockets (eg 1 plug, 2 IEC plugs 1 for PC and 1 for screen)
Do or do not, there is no try

I'm actually looking for the reverse,

Behind the tv is a shambles, I want one plug, with cable to behind equipment, then it'll split off into two kettles and two shavers.....

I have a double IEC lead that only has one plug (to go into the wall). It looks like this:

Can you get multiples? I have no idea.

Jaybee, this solution will work for you. Simply cut off the existing 13 amp plugtops and fit four cables into this plugtop. Slightly fiddly but doable.
It's OK, if there is no bread I will eat cake.
