Indigos is a fine album, it by no means Ellington's best but it does contain some real gems. It was recorded in 1957 and Duke was able to welcome back Harold 'Shorty' Baker as section leader and include him in a magnificent trumpet section consisting of 'Cat' Anderson, Harold Baker, Willie Cook, Clark Terry (trumpet) and Ray Nance (trumpet, violin)
