Exact Audio Copy

Post by Rocker »

A few weeks ago my computer hard disk failed and since then I have been s-l-o-w-l-y getting it back as close as it was before the crash. My latest problem is Exact Audio Copy. I must have had one of the older versions as the version I downloaded has a field for Lyrics and it inserts what it thinks is the correct artwork for the CD. My earlier version allowed me to search for artwork and choose for myself. The look of the new version is broadly similar to the old but the 'feel' of it working is not.

If anyone has an older version, could I please have a copy of it. Thanks.
It's OK, if there is no bread I will eat cake.

Hi Tom, Not sure what version I have compared to yours but if you go into accessories and then eac (assuming that is where your copy is located there is a word document explaining how to make changes to the version to suit the settings of the older version. Not sure if this helps you. I checked my downloads folder but got rid of whatever software download of eac I used.

Hi Tom,

I have V1.0 beta 3 from august 2011 - send me your email by PM if you want me to send it to you.

If you open EAC, then go to EAC in the top menu, then options you might find a box to deselect to turn off the add art.
