A bit of a misnomer this one as it contains one Flute Concerto by Ibert, one Concertino by Chaminade, one orchestrated Flute Sonata by Poulenc and one Fantasie for Flute and Orchestra by Faure. However the music is quite charming!

One does not become the lead in a section of the Berlin Philharmonic for nothing; when he plays "seriously" he is excellent. He did go off the tracks though when he became a "celebrity".
