spotify...
Re: spotify...
my experience is limited to apples airplay for streaming... it has the advantage of a toslink digital out, and being extremely stable and easy to setup...

Anyone figured out how to add People? I'm hooked up via Facebook, but I can't seem to add someone just by username.

Re: spotify...
I am of course not expecting high end sound but streaming via Bluetooth worries me a bit- will it drop out? will the range be good enough? It seems the simplest solution. i am on android...
Re: spotify...
if you're using A2DP, then I'm pretty sure it's limited to AAC...
If you're streaming spotify, then the 320kbps max would be well within A2DP capability...
Cloney have a setup using elac and it sounds excellent...
ps A2DP

Re: spotify...
as per screen shot below , the only place to see where one can choose airport is on this screen - the green icon on the right.Frankie Lee wrote:I'm intrigued by this. Are you able to stream directly from your iPad to your Express? What did you have to do first? I can't see any options on the iPad Spotify app to stream to Airport. Are you setting it in iTunes and it's just automatically streaming from the iPad?Sloop John B wrote: I have spotify on the iPad and an airport express set up through win 7. I had thought this would only allow streaming of iTunes but it seems to allow me to stream any audio content form the iPad.

I'm using a mac so it may be different.
Initially I opened music (formerly iPod) selected airplay as the out here and then when I opened Spotify it streamed from this also.

Re: spotify...
Thanks JB. I think I will keep it much more simple and cheap.
I only want it for morning radio/spotify and some kids music/Danish stories etc for the lads when they are in the bath or later when they are older for their own use.
This one on top of a bathroom press and the power running up through the ceiling to the attic.
Then just stream via bluetooth from whatever device I might have. I am considering a kindle Fire HD or an Ipad Mini from Santa... ;)
