Excuse me asking but is that a Saga LP? (Just that I happen to have a couple that were never transferred to CD. Thankfully the Bartok Quartets were...)

They came up with some interesting programmes all right!

Interesting......
More than interesting, the Argerich/Harnoncourt Schumann Piano Concerto is the most romantic, powerful, volatile and fascinating modern recording of the work. Argerich has made more recordings of this work than of anything else, including one with Rostropovich, a hard to get one with Myung Whun-Chung and an even more recent in her Lugano EMI series with Rabinovich, all glorious of course, but the combination of Harnoncourt and the Chamber Orchestra of Europe inspired her to give that something extra.
The problematic Violin Concerto (Schumann was already very ill when he composed it) gets a more debatable performance with Kremer. I love it, but others didn´t.
