That set was bought with high expectation on my part Darren so I will definitely be eager to hear it myself and I will furnish a report in due course.

Yes, I have been trying to fill in some glaring gaps in my musical knowledge (and indeed library) of late, and these recordings have long resided in the Amazon Wish-list. I am ashamed to admit that I don't have the complete recordings of the solo Violin S&Ps, and although I am familiar with 'A Musical Offering', have postponed tAotF owing to its reputation.... the Lute & Flute music will be completely new to me.
