Just a 'heads up' on this one, guys. Last month, BBC Music relaunched their new web site which gets better all the time and is becoming a mine nof information, especially suited to those of us whose knowledge of CM is constantly on an upward trajectory. There are a couple of features I particularly wanted to draw your attention to, however.
Last year, they produced a special edition, introducing the Great Composers, which they sold for £7.99 on the High St. All this information has now been uploaded onto their new website free, along with associated links. So, if you don't know where to get started with Britten for instance, here's his page:

Every week, they will be offering a free download from one of their album choices of the month; here's some Viola da Gamba for you:

Meanwhile, the Reviews section grows apace, and with the demise of the Penguin Guide, such a resource will always be of help when choosing new disks:

I hope you all find this a helpful resource to turn to, from time to time, even if you don't subscribe... :-)
