I used to be far more so than I am now.. just the occasional MotD for me, when I'm in the mood. Usually, Music takes preference these days...

arrived this morning... what can I say... I liked La Traviata and Falstaff so more Verdi seemed to be the way to go next...
Besides that it's directed by Zeffirelli and conducted by Chailly... all with an Egyptian setting!

ooh, I forgot to say, this arrived yesterday and I'm already dipping into it on a regular basis... it really is a mightily impressive piece of work and I'm already finding it enormous helpful with composer intros and opera synopses...
