Not so much a debate as a very subjective viewpoint. If ever an opening paragraph has a line like "It is the same as arguing that... " and then goes on to cite something which isn't the same at all you can be pretty sure straws are being grasped at. His real argument is that he can't hear a difference so we must all be fools.
