I picked up this gorgeous double LP set this evening after all the recent posts here. I'm only familar with Trueloves Gutter and this one is a little different but pretty good I think. I'll have to delve into the back catalogue.

Exquisite taste as always John :) Amazing! I knew what to expect as I'm getting familiar with your taste at this stage! But.....wham! That stunning guitar solo distorted to f##k is a thing of beauty....A must check!

Edit: The YouTube clip sounds like Badfinger's Without You, doesn't it? I see it's available on double vinyl from Norman Records :) However the review is not too complimentary :(

Know nothing about the triffids but there was an interesting piece about Dave McComb in the april issue of The Word.
Go Betweens - Great band. Saw them supporting REM back in 89/90 in the RDS.

Saw the original Triffids band live :) Brings back memories.... Tarrilup Bridge is particularly chilling. Wasn't that Go Between's Lp their second last one? Never got to hear the last one....
