Well done to both J and D :-) I was secretly hoping Ivor would have got the John Coltrane...
BTW you're so right about the Barnstorm album J..

You'd have to have left the title in the pic for me to have a chance of getting it.cybot wrote: I was secretly hoping Ivor would have got the John Coltrane...

Well done Cybot,
I knew you would get it in the end.
It really is a great record and everyone should have this in their collection.

Thanks Jad, but I have to say you did a good job in making it hard (and rightly so!). As regards the record, yes you are so right, everyone should have it in their collection and I think the CD version is an expanded edition. But, I have to say I find the record so, so sad...maybe it's the voice,I don't know....A listen to 'Strength of Strings' should do it.jadarin wrote:cybot wrote:Has to be a Gene Clark LP..... Re: Guess tthe LP
Right some clues are in order:
This album was made after the death of the singer's wife...
A well known Jazz album recorded in a shop??

So that'd be that overused-at-hifi-demonstrations.... Jazz at the Pawnshop?
Still I like that album...
