Excellent music ^^!
Got my ticket for The Felice Brothers so I put this one on last night.

It is a brilliant sounding album with very good atmosphere along the lines of Calexico etc.

Hi Claus, am just enjoying "The Felice Brothers" at the moment. Great old school (The Band?) vibe off it.
Check out Frankie's Gun or Greatest Show on Earth.

Recorded in his front room and sadly sometimes sounds like it! It's mostly great but the fiddle is kinda sharp and screeches a bit. the performance however is stunning.

Thanks to Ivor for reminding me of my meagre Haggard collection. Here's two...and the album that inspired me to check him out in the first place, which included two Merle classics: She Thinks I Still Care and one of my all favourites, Today I Started Loving You Again; The way John starts his pedal steel solo and then suddenly stops is classic.... I still prefer John's versions :)

Great discovery for me. Mentioned by Steve Earle on his last visit to The Olympia. So had to check him out.

I'm a big fan of Joe Henry, mainly as a producer, but I'm struggling a bit with that one. Maybe a few more listens...
