Why not? Try it and see how it goes!Jared wrote:Another Idea: 'The Music Lounge'
How would you all feel about having a thread set up (maybe with a sticky pin, Admins?) which can be our own listening lounge, where people can pop something on the gramophone, help themselves to a glass of port and chat away about anything vaguely music related...

It could be very interesting. I too would suggest that you start such a thread and see what happen.Jared wrote:Another Idea: 'The Music Lounge'
Some of these threads have been getting jolly 'chatty' recently, to such a point that the 'Recent Purchases' thread hasn't really been purely about recent purchases for a while...

thereby leaving the listening, purchases & bargain threads to just that..
this isn't intended as a criticism; merely as an observation.
What do you all think?
Matt.
Re: Listening Project Idea
Quite. While I am partial to a nice pint of Guinness (it's been ages) I don't think I've ever even a seen pork scratchings. Currently sipping a damn fine Vacqueryras from my own shelves.fergus wrote:He is also of the Vegetarian species so the pork would definitely be out Jared. In relation to the beverage I would suggest that it is more likely to be a very nice bottle of the Red Vine!Jared wrote:
would that be Guinness & Pork Scratchings flavour?
