Does anyone else have a view on these types of collection?
I personally have, as a rule, never done it myself Darren....even when I listened to lots of Rock music. I always went for the full album as I figured that I would end up buying it anyway!!

However, at those prices, one cannot go wrong either!
Well, Fergus, I have thought about this. As I see it I am happy enough with discs of overtures and preludes (notably from Wagner) and I don't always have time for a whole opera; even though I like them greatly. So I think I can rationalise these purchases that way! As long as I don't stray into the 'crossover' hellhole I should be fine....;-)

To be honest Darren I will not be listening to it for a while as we have recently had a particularly tragic death in our extended family....there is a lot of emotion around at the moment. I will get back to you in relation to it at a later stage.

Fergus, I just wanted to echo all the sentiments... I'd like some feedback on this one too, but am also very sorry indeed to hear about your tragic loss... :-(
