So do I and young people don't notice the deficiencies inherent in MP3 playback.DaveF wrote:http://www.breakingnews.ie/entertainmen ... 36961.html

not even notice..... most young people either aren't aware of the deficiencies of mp3s in the first place OR else if they do, they don't care as they mostly listen to their music on the go via ipods etc.Seán wrote:......young people don't notice the deficiencies inherent in MP3 playback.
That said, I think the vinyl resurgence *might* change that.

Not a thump-crash, hope in thump-crash hell of that thump-crash happening, I'm afraid. As long as they get their thump-crash they will be happy, and mp3 will deliver that.DaveF wrote:not even notice..... most young people either aren't aware of the deficiencies of mp3s in the first place OR else if they do, they don't care as they mostly listen to their music on the go via ipods etc.Seán wrote:......young people don't notice the deficiencies inherent in MP3 playback.

Re: Young 'angry' over the quality of current music
I had that too. The only slight drawback was that the copied tape would be still blank 50% of the time after recording and/or the original tape would get mashed up. Good times.Diapason wrote:Hi-speed dubbing an' all!DaveF wrote:you had a pretty fancy cassette recorder eh?Diapason wrote:In my day, we didn't notice the deficiencies inherent in multiple-generation copied cassettes. :)

Actually, I find the lack of ear splitting highs and bowel loosening lows to be the most visible aspect of Mp3'sSeán wrote:Not a thump-crash, hope in thump-crash hell of that thump-crash happening, I'm afraid.
