I think you have made a pair of very wise purchases there :-)
Only a pair...? ;)

It's amazing! I think back to vinyl boxed sets which tended to be extremely expensive and, if there were many in the set, commensurately heavy, to the extent that you had to be careful to examine them in shop to be sure that the box wasn't already collapsing under the weight of the discs. Some were enticingly luxurious, with silk covering on the box: you don't get that any more, but being able to buy so much music so cheaply is more than adequate compensation.

Enjoy the music, Si!

and are still being produced today and may even outlive CDs, we'll see. I have more than 600 of them in my music room, they do take up a lot of space though.

yes, but after 1973, the LP almost halved in weight... to keep costs down.

Any thoughts? The price is good, but I know nothing about the group in question.
Amazon have just emailed me cancelling my order, and encouraging me to reorder it at £28.86 rather than the original £13.99. Not impressed.

I'm noticing that a lot of CD's (particularly box sets) I bought for very reasonable prices are increasing in value immensely on Amazon marketplace.
