Fergus, that one has been languishing in my Amazon basket... you've beaten me to it, so please let me know what you think of it, in due course..

Thanks Fergus. I'm (sort of) back now. I'll explain what has happened. My Youth Hostel has been undergoing a refurbishment, which has included replastering, repainting and recarpeting my flat. All my belongings had to go into storage and last week, I was 'persuaded' to take a week's holiday because they couldn't complete the work while I was here. I came back yesterday evening and although the hostel itself still looks like a building site, I am now back in my flat, having got my PC and Music back online (first things first!!) and this morning have rehung pictures, put shelves back up, sorted my TV and speakers out and basically hoovered and cleaned every surface. Not very exciting I'm afraid, but I'm pleased to have been reunited with my Haydn Piano Trios... ;-)

Yes, but at least you have a newly decorated flat and you also have your own space back. You can get back into your listening groove in comfort!

Thank you Sean... you're a gentleman.

Just received these two works courtesy of Amazon...

I wanted alternate versions of these masterpieces besides the Alban Bergs; these were cheap and came highly recommended... so, I'm taking a little time out of my normal 'programmed' listening, to catch up on some revision... ;-))
