On occasion I stumble on a performer or group of performers who really impress me and have me determined to acquire more of their recordings, the likes of Clara Haskil, Quatuor Mosaïques and the Quartetto Italiano immediately spring to mind. A new one -- for me at any rate -- is the Freiburger Barockorchester and as I find the instrumental music of JS Bach simply irresistible I just had to get these two CDs:
