The pacing is fine here Dave because, most importantly, it "feels" right....nothing is rushed or dragged out. I do stress again that this is an mono recording so it sounds a bit boxy but it is a very good performance....and bright it is not!DaveF wrote:what's the pacing like here Fergus? Every time I listen to music from this set I always think what a pity it is that Abbado and the COE did not record all of the London Symphonies, the music on this set is truly magnificent.

This is another gorgeous rendition of one of my favourite Haydn's symphonies.
