That's a great set, Fergus. Solti was a fabulous conductor of Richard Strauss. His recordings of Der Rosenkavalier, Elektra and Salome are unmissable, in my opinion.fergus wrote:

I had been a little unsure which version (my first) of this opera to go for. I already have Della Casa singing the Four Last Songs and on that CD there are some excerpts from Arabella which I liked so I obviously opted for that one in the end.mcq wrote:That's a great set, Fergus.
