Symphony No.2

One of my favorite versions of this work and a piece that I know every twist and turn of. A pair of Kharma's with the new Kharma driver installed arrived today on trial so its a case of going through my favorite recordings again.
Ivan's been telling me about the new drivers: I'm all agog. Solti's Mahler should be a fine workout for them!

Initial impressions are very promising. I'll report back later. In some recordings though I do miss that bottom octave so I'll have to research the Kharma sub at some point in the future. Anyway that's some way down the line.

Modern strings and period brass makes for an interesting sound.
