Looking forward to hearing this one. The Budapest Quartet's classic Columbia recordings from 1951/2 have been dogged by intermittent availability so when I saw this set in Tower for only €30 I snapped it up.
Gryphon Diablo 300, dCS Rossini (with matching clock), Kharma Exquisite Mini, Ansuz C2, Finite Elemente Master Reference.

I think that's the earlier mono set, enjoy, is it the Library of Congress recordings perhaps? I'm not sure though. I have this set and it is available on Amazon for a very good price, it is a truly magnificent set and it is beautifuly remastered too.mcq wrote:

No, it's not the Library of Congress recordings (which I believe have been collected on the Bridge label), but the first set of the Beethoven quartets which the Budapest recorded (in mono).
