Well, thank you very much Sean :-)

I'd never aspire to equal your own, of course; Wynton Marsalis, Keith Jarrett and Jim Hall all told me you're The Main Man!!!

After almost a five year wait, I finally get my hands on a long deleted little Isan ditty. It's a rare 7" interpretation of the Trois Gymnopédies that I managed to get through Discogs....all the way from Pennsylvania :-)

I received a delivery of this yesterday morning and it is indeed a cracker. I'd say, like Mike, I too have about 10% already and some of it is the kind of jazz I simply don't like but on balance it's lovely. I'm spending a lot of time painting etc in my shop at the moment and I had this on the little system down there all day yesterday... headin' down again today for more Mingus and Hancock! Thanks Mike!

To tell you the truth I had only a couple of minutes there as I was a little early for a meeting, so I just looked along the usual bargain shelf to the left of the door running down to the stairs. Surprised to see the Kinks stuff there and happy to buy it at the price:-)
