That is a lovely performance and is superior to Horenstein's earlier recording of the Titan with the VSO, I feel.

On Lyric FM:

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart
Piano Concerto no. 17 in G K.453

Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra
Maurizio Pollini (piano)
Claudio Abbado - conducting

This was gorgeous music-making with a rich performance by Pollini, Abbado and the BPO, it was recorded live in May 2011 in the Philharmonie.

Gustav Mahler
Adagio from Symphony no. 10

Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra
Claudio Abbado - conducting

The final piece from the same concert was an extract from Mahler's Tenth Symphony and it featured spine tingling playing by the BPO in an awesome performance of Mahler's Adagio, Abbado had them play beautifully. Why oh why did he ever leave Berlin.
