I will be there with the wife. What time should I arrive in order to avoid Mundy?

Amazing concert! The presence of greatness was felt from the first note. A sound so fragile and so sensitive it could have fallen apart any minute. Tissues had to come out a few times. (Had a pint while Mundy played, so perfect timing ;) )

Hi Claus,
Good to meet you & your wife before the concert. Nice venue but I didn't find I could make out Emmylou's lyrics so it ruined a lot of the concert for me. I was in the stalls nearly in the centre half way back so I should have been in a "sweet spot". I'm not familiar with her recent work & so couldn't fill in the missing words myself. I thought the band behind her were excellent but she didn't introduce them until the end!

Anyone else had problems with sound clarity at this venue? Or was it the sound crew that were the problem? It would put me off going again if it's the venue.

I was at The Waterboys there last year, up in the Gods, the very back row in the middle, and the sound was excellent, so I wouldn't give up on the venue yet.

OK, crap sound engineers then - ruined what could have been a good show, if I could pick up the words. Lady in front of me fell asleep :)
