Good friend of mine has an excellent disc of music from the crusades. Incredible to hear music from the 12th century! (I love that kind of stuff.)

I must admit, I'd be most intrigued to hear it, as well..

however, I've promised Fergus there will be no more purchases until the 24 singles/ doubles and 5 box sets sat unopened on my shelf, have been played through thoroughly and appreciated...

I'd be interested to know your thoughts on how this compares with more recent interpretations... although with chamber players, I can't imagine the textures will be too thick.. what led you to this purchase, Fergus?
