Re: USB Regen from Uptone Audio
I have both the Regen and Recovery, and tried both with batteries and LPS. Both following an Intona with the USB coming from a nice dedicated server (LPSx3, PPAv2/LPS, PPA SATA cables, fanless, etc..) Re: JCAT is in the REGEN business now
Here is a nice review on the Intona http://www.avrev.com/home-theater-accessories/acoustics-eq-room-tuning/intona-high-speed-usb-isolator-review-2.html Here is something new, maybe more interesting in that it uses a separate PS and is cheaper.. but I thought that USB data required re-clocking after ...

Re: microrendu
Thanks for taking the time for the post Crom. I have read that the MR requires some significant break in time to come to form.... If you do not mind, do you have a preference with HQPlayer as NAA direct, or through JPlay? I have not yet tried HQPlayer, but really like the kernel streaming option in ...

Re: The DIYINHK USB to 12S card
I was looking for the CA recommendation mentioned, but came across this.. See post # 73 http://www.computeraudiophile.com/f8-general-forum/sd-card-compatible-hifi-list-please-add-15619/index3.html Seems the user moved on from the player in favor of a USB bridge, but this could be due to the user pre...

Re: DIY Regen Battery tweak
Hi Guys, Thanks for all the cool cutting-edge stuff posted here. Unfortunately, I cannot solder so many of the tweaks are out of my capability, but just yesterday I changed an Uptone Regen (powered by Teradak 9V fed by Audio-GD HE-350 regenerator) with the standard Intona USB Isolator. Now about 20 ...

Re: Fan-less CPU cooler
Very nice that was the one i just couldn't justify but it has to work better looking like that! What temps does your processor run at with that Motberg? It is over the top when you consider Nigel runs no fan at all but I would prefer to be safe than sorry on the processor. Hi... Sorry for the late ...
