Re: MQN
WAVEIO Thesycon 2.20. 7.38/PA56 working really well in my set up. Superb clarity and great deep but controlled bass. So should be good for you Jonathan. Where did you get 2.20? Latest WaveIO driver is 2.23, previous one 2.19. With 2.19 same situation as 2.23 (7.35 distorted, 7.36 ok, 7.37 no sound)...

Re: MQN
Had a quick listen to PA57 normal which sounds even better to my ears than 56 and mqnplay 7.38 24/96 normal with Diana Krall/Temptation sounds sublime.
Thanks Gordon.

Re: MQN
uploaded portaudio v40, think that's the best I can get without replacing portaudio. As the natives seem to be getting restless I'm going to take a break. Hey Gordon Sometimes in the heat of the discussion people say things which on further reflection wish they had not. I'm sure that everyone here ...

Re: MQN
Hi All I have PA 38 and mqnplay v 7.35 sse loaded at the moment and it’s astoundingly good to my ears. More meat on the bones in the lower mid and bass. I have Xmos drivers and like Jling I’m having the first few seconds at the start of playback cut off. It’s no big deal as the rest sounds so very g...

Re: MQN
Hi All Sorry for the late arrival as I’ve only just become aware of this player through conversation with Tony on another forum (Place Full of Morons). I spent yesterday playing catch up working my way through some of the Wasapi files with varying degrees of success. Some worked and some did not. On...

Re: Build a dedicated Audio PC
Hi Guys I’m still pretty new here but thought that I’d pass on my recent building experiences just in case they may be useful for others. Up until recently I had been using a D510MO MB which I built back in the day for use as a basic music player just for running Fubar. Then I bumped into John Kenny...
