Im new here so not sure if this has been posted yet, but being well into my Nordic jazz I can't recommend this guy highly enough. Tord Gustavsen, while he can be a bit slow for some tastes this is sublime melancholy piano playing with accompaniment from tenor saxophonist Toro Brunborg.

Nice tribute even if overall bit on the bland side, but great to see JJ Cale getting more profile and recognition if only posthumously

Another eclectic mix from one of rocks true mavericks, Chuck E. Weiss, even out performs recent output from his old buddy Tom Waits IMHO ;)

Thank you Ivor, loved her/their covers album too 'My Dearest Darkest Neighbour' another current fave of mine is the wonderfully named Sturgill Simpson with the 'Metamodern Sounds in Country Music'
