Re: For folks sake....

http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51FqefZWGIL._SY300_.jpg One of the finest albums I've ever heard. Love it to bits. Yep, just re-purchased 2nd hand on vinyl for nth time recently. Did you catch their amazing 'one-off' come back gig at Vicar St a few years ago when they played the entire album ...

From E Bay - The Very Best of Roy Orbison – Roy Orbison – Monument Records, 1972, WSLP 18045 Stereo. Mint condition vinyl with stunning SQ. See review below from Vivascene The Music Magazine - says it all!! Famed songwriter Boudleaux Bryant pronounced Roy Orbison’s “Monument Period” as one of Roy’s ...

Ike Quebec album is a particular favourite, heard title track on compilation years ago then bought cd and loved it. This Music Matters Vinyl version sounds sublime with Grant Greens guitar playing a particular highlight.

Re: Americana and suchlike

The Deslondes 2015 debut album, contemporaries of Hurray for the Riff-Raff (indeed a couple of the deslondes used to be members) Similar soulful country-roots 'n' swampy honky-tonk from New Orleans. Theres definitely something in water down there, lovely stuff.

Re: World - Eclectic musical taste from all over...

The Mali and Cuban rhythms combine so well with Roberto Foncescas piano and Fatoumatas powerful soaring voice complimenting other superbly. It was a truly mesmeric and exhilarating performa...
