Great comments by Swenson. I've believed for ages that noise gets into DACs and hits the ground plane (and +5V power if connected). Without technical data it's been impossible for me to back this up. It odes seems unlikely that the DAC chips themselves are fed the wrong data so noise on the ground p...

As I don't have a DAC on the list of recent mqn versions I've not tried new versions recently. I must admit I've not totally followed where we're up to...
