Re: Bug Head Technology Music Player
Following this thread over at the JPlay forum, someone drops a bomb shell recommending this player instead; http://albumplayer.ru/english.html I am absolutely in awe with the sound now in such a simple app, kind of makes me regret I just shelled out for 32 GB of Ram when the 8 GB I had was fine. Is...

Re: Bug Head Technology Music Player
I gave up with the manual....
Ah it's the Normal menu that gives access to the Blade settings... It's the next screen which has really unfathomable options.

Re: Bug Head Technology Music Player
I wish I knew what all the options on the playback screen do.. I'm running 4.85, this I find is a massive change. Loads more detail, way more up front and this is with my mellow speakers, I daren't connect up my uber detailed speakers. The bass I feel is still inconsistent, some albums have big bass...

Re: Bug Head Technology Music Player
Can select double sided memory option on my Haswell-E but on my Ivy Bridge no such joy, even though it has 4 X 2GB DDR3 modules it won't allow the option to be selected. Loving the quality have you chosen Stardust mode? Yes I'm using Startdust. So many options! It seems double sided needs 16gb. The...

Re: Bug Head Technology Music Player
I've just managed to go from 30% degradation to High Class Professional due to using 16GB of memory and enabling 8. Double sided memory. Running 4.83 I find the memory change to be very significant, indeed frankly it's a must have. The character is similar to 30% deg but there is more detail, a much...

Re: MQN
Oh well...it's interesting to hear about your experience with it. I wonder whether the two players respond differently to highly optimised and almost non-optimised PCs/Laptops. I for sure find Galaxy better with SSE plus than Blade 10 and whatever the instruction set default setting is. The resulti...

Re: MQN
Clive You made me curious, so I tried Infinity SQ with Galaxy 10 instead of Blade 10. But on my setup this is even much worse than Blade 10 and lags far behind MQn. Oh well...it's interesting to hear about your experience with it. I wonder whether the two players respond differently to highly optim...

Re: MQN
I thought I'd do a compare of Infinity Blade SQ with MQn. Bear in mind I don't have a Haswell and am running something like MQn 8.59 having been left way behind by the versions I can't run. I set Infinity Blade SQ to 4GB - 4GB which tells me I have 30% degradation. I get the same with 2GB - 2GB - 2G...

Re: MQN
