When they brought the models back in 2016, the original batches were built in Japan, then Technics transferred production to Malaysia in 2020/2021. The Japan-built decks are supposedly more sought after.

I added a Neo to a RP8 (which originally had the simpler TT-PSU) and found it a very worthwhile upgrade.

Sad to hear this will close, I have found it very useful for the classifieds as well as general forums. Adverts.ie is pretty horrible for high-ish end audio so I’ll miss that option hugely!

Looks like the UK ‘WAM site is going off too. Sad to see that as well.

Could be one of the first public showings of the new Rega high-end deck (Naia). Very curious to hear that!
